From small pubs and retailers to large nightclubs, cafés, restaurants, hotels, and sports facilities selling alcohol, there’s a potential need for trained door supervisors with an SIA license.
From October 2021, door supervisors are required to undertake top-up training prior to renewing their license. The Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry (Top Up) is tailored for those with an existing SIA license, ensuring they align with the updated qualification criteria.
The Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors (Top-Up) aligns with SIA’s qualification standards. It’s backed by Skills for Security and regulated by the SIA, the authoritative body for the private security sector.

You can use the SIA criminal record indicator to see whether you will pass the criminality checks.
